so this was the start of what would be a crazy weekend...

took some shots of us in the atlanta airport, on the plane, and waiting for the bride to be to pick us up

as you can see, i am also keeping track of the shots i am taking with my new Diana+ (thank you leighton)

i will hopefully get those rolls developed and pray that they came out looking good

these are a couple older ones but i haven't taken any new pics in the last couple days

sometimes i just like them being simple...

i hope to have some great shots from this weekend from the wedding we are going to in Chicago as well as THE CUBS GAME AT WRIGLEY!!!!!!!!

hopefully over time you will see some very exciting and interesting pics i take with my new Diana however, considering it's film...it could be awhile for this poor man to come up with developed film
but i can't wait...and hopefully you can't either

kinda funny...kinda gross (just to clarify first off...my wife is not gross, just what this story is about...had to clarify, especially after her initial read of this post and thought i called her gross)

jenica got pink eye and it was grossing me out a little to the point that i was afraid of getting it even if i kissed her
also, it made me feel weird when she stared at me with it

then, i got some amazing advice from my friend leighton...he's like, "why don't you get an eye patch and one of those bedazzlers so she can draw herself a new eye."

and so i did

(except i had to improvise with what i had in the office which was a knee patch from the med kit and a sharpie...still worked)


no more crazy pink eye staring me down at every turn

sorry this one is a little boring...pretty much just messing with the flash in the apartment

jenica and i drove 30 minutes to go check out the new H&M in downtown Atlanta only to find out that it was actually about 5 minutes away from where we had originally left...awesome

oh well, at least it was worth it by getting this shot (even though jenica doesn't like it because i gave her no warning as usual and the wind was crazy)
i think this will be an ongoing battle as long as she shows up in my pictures...ha, oh well
she's still beautiful

here are some of the last ones i will put up from the freshman overnighter...

parker got dominated at the water boats and i was lucky to get a shot of eric putting dylan in to the wall which was pretty funny to watch...
and then of course you got bailey...just taking it all in

so the guys wanted some more of the shots up from the overnighter so here is at least one more for now...i will have to look through the rest and put more up tomorrow

i am currently at the freshmen overnighter and was able to snap a few shots before things got going...
hopefully i get some sleep tonight

had some fun with the fisheye lens tonight...
i feel like i have got more in the habit of taking pics which is good because i kinda just got lazy for awhile...

let's hope i can keep it up b/c it's fun and challenges me to get new and creative shots

stuart is pretty much awesome considering that he got me the best cubs shirt ever!! i mean, he was awesome before, but this definitely put him on a whole new level....the cubs, in hebrew....what's up

jacob thought he could hold the impact of keith jumping off his back with only one arm...he was wrong

today has been a day filled with editing pics, putting them on here, and then editing more pics

but, that has made it in to a fun day allowing me to do a lot of catch up

thanks ladies for thinking of me to shoot...i had a lot of fun

some kids from the youth group asked me to come out and take pics of their group for prom

it was a lot of fun seeing them all dressed up
i mistakenly asked for the "groom" to come and stand in front of me when i meant for the guys to...i guess i am just getting ready for the wedding in august...and who knows, maybe it made me more credible in front of all their parents....maybe

while out on shoots of people, I am always trying to find other things that catch my eye

these are just a few of the ones I have been able to capture
I enjoy taking these kinds of shots, especially when I am not able to get out and shoot for myself very often
